Our Mission
Pinnacle Innovations (Pty) Ltd is a proudly South African private medical technology company (Reg: 2013/164775/07), established in 2013 by Dr. Ravine Yachad, an Orthopaedic Surgeon with more than three decades of clinical and academic experience. After stepping away from surgery due to a shoulder injury, Dr. Yachad founded Pinnacle out of a deep desire to remain connected to the operating theatre and continue serving the surgical community.
Drawing on international experience in Australia and Canada and an extensive public and private career in South African medicine, Pinnacle was built to bridge global standards with local surgical realities. Our portfolio reflects the best of traditional reliability and innovation, carefully selected by a surgeon, for surgeons.
Our core principle is “theatre first,” emphasizing speed, precision, and clinical relevance. This led to early innovations like pre-configured surgical kits and instrument sets, and staff trained as theatre support. We offer a comprehensive instrument inventory, acting as a “one-stop” shop for surgical teams. We combine the stock of large multinationals with local agility, personalized service, and competitive pricing.
As a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor, Pinnacle is dedicated not only to the healthcare system but to community upliftment. We train and employ previously unemployed individuals, many without prior industry experience, and help transform them into skilled professionals. Through continuous investment in people, infrastructure, and education, we contribute to national healthcare advancement, including direct support for Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs across South Africa.

We cover all of Gauteng, the North West province, Kwa-Zulu Natal including Durban, Pietermaritzburg, and the north coast and south coast (Richard’s Bay to Ramsgate).
